Skimming device found at Dollar Tree register in Eunice
Anyone who has visited the Dollar Tree recently, and used a debit or credit card, should review their statements carefully for unauthorized transactions that appear suspicious, according to EPD.
EUNICE, La. (KLFY)-- A skimming device was discovered at one of the registers at a Dollar Tree in Eunice.
Authorities said on June 15, around 7:12 p.m., the Dollar Tree employees informed the Eunice Police Department that a skimming device was found on register 3, and they weren't sure how long the device was on there.
Anyone who has visited the Dollar Tree recently, and used a debit or credit card, should review their statements carefully for unauthorized transactions that appear suspicious, according to EPD.
EPD is investigating the issue, and will going through video footage of the store once it becomes available. Authorities said it is possible the devices were placed in the store when the employees were unaware.
