Love Island’s Will Young hints at secretly tying the knot with Jessie Wynter as he calls her his wife live on TV

LOVE Island’s Will Young has hinted that he’s secretly married Jessie Wynter.

The reality star, 25, accidentally called the Aussie beauty his “wife” live on TV during tonight’s episode of Aftersun.

The farmer made the confession while chatting with Maya

Will and Jessie met on Love Island last year and have been going from strength to strength ever since.

They recently sparked marriage rumours, and this evening they set tongues wagging again.

The couple shared their opinions on this year’s series with host Maya Jama.

Will said: “I am loving it. Everyone is going ‘It’s early days’, I was like I found my wife there within like two days sort of thing!”

The crowd cheered at the cute comment.

He added: “But two weeks? I thought there would be some set in stone couples but…”

Just last month the pair sparked engagement rumours with a romantic revelation on a glam date night.

Speaking to The Sun on the Bafta TV Awards red carpet, Will insisted he will be going down on one knee soon.

He said: “There’s no maybe about it. One hundred per cent. We are doing that.”

Jessie added: “When the time is right.”

Just days before Jessie confessed they’d get “engaged right now”.

Speaking to The Sun, Jessie said: “So Will is really good at fake proposing, so I think he’s definitely got it on his mind,” Jessie told us.

“We definitely do speak about marriage, and getting engaged and everything a lot.

“I think if we could, we would be engaged right now. We’d be having a wedding, but at the moment, like we’ve just got so many other things to navigate at the moment.

The Islanders are all 'coupled up' in the villa.

“So that’s not the top of my priorities.

“And that something that is actually really fun – my parents actually recently got engaged, so I’m actually plan their wedding.

“I said to Will let’s see how I plan their wedding…”

Straight after Love Island Jessie moved in with Will on his farm.

But now they’ve decided to move away from it.

Jessie confessed to us: “House hunting is a lot harder than we anticipated.

“We’ve been searching for a few months now, and it is really important to us that we do find the right property.

“And I think the more you look, it’s like, the more opportunities you find, and it’s always a little bit overwhelming, just, like, trying to find the right place.

“So, house hunting is still full underway. We’re doing all of our research.

“We’re at a little bit of a disadvantage as I’m from Australia, and we’ve not left the farm really, so we don’t really know what areas are good to look in.

“But, you know, we’re trying our hardest and it’s still happening. So we’re very excited about it, though. It’s all part of the journey.”

The pair are keen to move nearer to a city.

On where they might be headed in the meantime, Jessie explained: “At the moment, we are looking to move closer to the city.

“So, I think when we went to Australia earlier this year, Will absolutely loved apartment life, and he said it’s one of his bucket list things to do, to move to a city.

“So we decided, why not? We’ll try city life, see how we like it. It doesn’t have to be a forever thing, but we’ll give it a crack.”

Jessie originally shot to fame on Love Island Australia in 2019.
