What We’re Tracking

  • Mostly clear overnight
  • Hot & breezy for Monday
  • Few mid-week storm chances.

Mostly clear and mild weather tonight with temperatures falling back into the lower 70s by early Monday morning. South wind should weaken a bit overnight, but still a bit of a breeze as we don't expect it to become calm overnight.

We look to hold on to the heat into early next week. Heat index values will continue to approach 100° as we have very limited rain chances and not much relief in sight. Make sure if you have to be outside to take frequent breaks in the shade and stay hydrated! There should be a fairly strong southerly wind at 15-25mph for Monday afternoon, which will help it feel a little better.

Isolated storms are possible late Tuesday after another hot day. By Wednesday, we should start to see more of an active weather pattern take place that will give us a few chances for rain by the end of the week. This should 'cool' us down into the upper 80s and lower 90s, although, still above average.
