Fans of SpongeBob can bag a selection of branded goods including nightwear, sweatshirts, shorts and socks.

There is also a range of matching pyjamas in sizes for all family members.

And it’s not just SpongeBob merch that’s up for grabs, fans of the show can pick up items featuring Patrick and Squidward too.

The TV cartoon is also taking over selected Primark cafes from June to August.

Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Birmingham, and Braehead, near Glasgow, have all had a Krusty Krab-worthy makeover.

Primark bosses at the Braehead store gave shoppers an inside look at the new cafe on Friday, as they said: “Spongebob Cafe Now At Braehead.”

The clip has racked up more than 200,000 views with shoppers desperate to visit.

“I wanna go”, gushed one.

A second wrote: “I REQUEST A VISIT FOR MY BIRTHDAY PLEASE.”

A third insisted: “We’re goin a love a bit of Bob.”

“STOP WE NEED TO GO NOW”, screamed a fourth.

Meanwhile, a fifth echoed: “Omg we gotta go.”

It could be the perfect day out for families, with characters including SpongeBob, Patrick and Plankton set to visit stores in June and July.

The SpongeBob Cafes will also offer items such as Krab’s Secret Sandwich, Pineapple Under the Sea Bubble Tea, Kelp Crunch Waffle, and Chum Wings.

A kids lunch box deal – which includes a roll, snack, piece of fruit and a drink – will set you back £4.95, while hot meals start from £5.95.

But diehard fans of the show have spotted one major issue with the themed menu.

“Where are the Krabby Patties?” fumed one.

A second chimed in: “Imagine not having a Krabby Patty at SpongeBob restaurant.”

And a third asked: “Wait no Krabby Patties!?”

Primark’s director of license Sarah Jackson said: “Our partnership with Paramount continues to go from strength to strength.

“We know that our customers love our product collections from Paw Patrol to our iconic TMNT X Pizza Hut collaboration, so we’re thrilled to celebrate 25 years of this much-loved character with a new line of pyjamas for all the family.”

Primark director of new business development Tim Kelly added: “We’ve seen an amazing response from customers to our revolving cafe themes so far, so we’re delighted to reveal the next chapter with SpongeBob and Patrick in the limelight.

“At Primark, we’re always looking at ways to bring unrivalled in-store experiences to our customers and give them more reasons to visit their local store.”

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
