Police and paramedics attended but the child – who has now been named as 16-year-old Kamil Hubert – was pronounced dead at the scene.

The teenager had just finished his GCSEs the day before his tragic death.

Nottinghamshire Police said two men, aged 28 and 31, have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the death on Saturday.

A 28-year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All three people arrested are in police custody.

Heartbroken friends and relatives of Kamil have organised a GoFundMe page to raise money for the youngster’s funeral.

His cousin, Aleksandra Ostapczuk, put together the page for the boy’s mother.

Aleksandra wrote: “On 15th June, my aunt’s 16 year old son tragically died.

“He just finished his GCSEs the day prior to the incident.

“We are trying to help her raise money to cover the costs of the funeral for him.

“Kamil was a kind and loving boy who was taken away from us way too early.”

More than £4,000 has so far been raised towards the cost of the funeral.

The Carlton in Lindrick Club, in Worksop, is holding a fundraising event for Kamil on Saturday to help his family raise money toward his funeral.

Balloons will be released at 3pm in Pit Field.

The club has requested that anyone who wants to donate any prizes to be raffled off to bring them in before June 21.

An organiser wrote on the club’s Facebook page: “There will be cake sales and donation buckets for anyone willing to help this local family at their most difficult time.

“They have asked for everyone attending to wear blue to celebrate his life.”
