PDX hosts volunteer dress rehearsal for new terminal
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Want to get a sneak peek of the new Portland International Airport? The Port of Portland is looking for volunteers!
PDX announced Monday they are looking for thousands of local volunteers to help test things out before the new terminal officially opens.
Volunteers will go behind the scenes for about two hours to help test the whole flight process and explore the new space.
People won't leave empty-handed. All volunteers will receive a $50 VISA gift card and they will be entered to win bigger raffle prizes. There will also be snacks and refreshments.
The airport will welcome volunteers of all ages, guests under 16 will need to accompany a guardian.
You can sign up to reserve your spot online.
The dress rehearsal will be on Aug. 3 before the terminal is scheduled to open later in the month.
