John Mayer of Dead & Company is shown during the group's opening night at the Sphere on May 16, 2024, in Las Vegas.

Dead & Company are performing throughout the summer of 2024 while they continue their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. There are still plenty of opportunities to see the former Grateful Dead band members and their fellow artists in concert, and we'll show you everything you need to know about how to buy Dead & Company tickets.

The lineup of artists touring with Dead & Company in 2024 includes past Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart, as well as John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti, and Jay Lane. While Dead & Company's Summer 2023 concert series was described as the group's final tour, which created some confusion about their future, the band members clarified that the door for playing together again was still open.

Now, having toured together since 2015, the group is taking their show to Las Vegas this year for an extended stay at Sphere, which will elevate the band's performances further with premium sound, video, and 4D physical effects. Dead & Company's Sphere residency officially kicked off on May 16 and was originally scheduled to end in July 2024, but the band added additional Sphere dates in August. So far, the band's concerts in Las Vegas are their only scheduled tour dates for the year, meaning tickets are going fast.

How to buy tickets for Dead & Company's 2024 concert tour

You can buy original tickets to Dead & Company's 2024 tour at Las Vegas' Sphere on Ticketmaster. However, the number of remaining standard original tickets is more limited now.

Tickets to see Dead & Company's 2024 Las Vegas Sphere residency concerts are also available for purchase through verified resale ticket vendors such as StubHub and Vivid Seats. You may have better luck with seating and ticket variety on these resale sites than with the remaining original tickets.

How much are Dead & Company tickets?

Standard original tickets to see Dead & Company's 2024 concerts aren't too cheap, but they vary depending on the date, location, seating selection, and demand for each show. According to Dead & Company's website, original tickets began at $395 for GA and P1, $295 for P2, $195 for P3, and $145 for P4—all taxes and fees included. However, not all of these options are still available for each show date.

On Ticketmaster, the least expensive original standard tickets still available begin at $182.35 before taxes. Generally, resale ticket prices are comparable to or less expensive than the available standard original passes. It's worth noting that original GA floor tickets are restricted from transfer on Ticketmaster, so you'll most likely want to purchase GA resale through Ticketmaster's Face Value Exchange, while you can explore other ticketing tiers on sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats.

The lowest prices for Dead & Company tickets on Vivid Seats range from $124 for their July 5 show to $213 on June 22. StubHub's selection of tickets offers similar starting prices, which begin from $134 on July 6 to $201 on June 21. Over the past two weeks, the cheapest ticket listings have slightly increased in price.

Initially, three concert package experiences were offered for Dead & Company's 2024 Sphere tour: a one-concert and hotel package with optional VIP tickets, a three-concert date and hotel package with optional VIP packages, and a three-concert VIP ticket bundle. Unfortunately, all packages on Vibee have already sold out.

Who is opening for Dead & Company's tour?

There will be no opening acts for Dead & Company's 2024 performances at Sphere in Las Vegas. This is often the case for Sphere performances.

Will there be international tour dates?

Since the only 2024 concerts that Dead & Company have confirmed so far for 2024 are in Las Vegas, there aren't any international tour dates. With Dead & Company's Sphere Las Vegas residency concluding on August 10, it's possible that additional tour dates could be added elsewhere later in the year. If so, the band could potentially extend their 2024 performances to include international concerts. However, it's unlikely that the group will go on an official "tour" again, given their previous comments.

Note: Certain services and regions prohibit the resale of tickets. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal reselling of tickets, and entry into an event is at the venue's discretion.
