• The Karma Club, Marin County’s free after-school teen community center, raised $15,000 at its event on June 4. The event, which featured a screening of Emmy-nominated director and Mill Valley resident Tiffany Shlain’s “The Teen Brain,” was attended by 60 people at the Cinelounge in Tiburon, including Elizabeth Mitchell and her daughter Katherine, Sally Newson, Karma Club’s founder and executive director, and Steve Silberstein, all of Belvedere; Ken Goldberg and Tiffany Shlain and their daughter Blooma, Dabney Ingram, Ila Panik and Stacey Silver, all of Mill Valley; and Rochelle Lacey, of Tiburon.
