England stars taken on scenic bike ride as Gareth Southgate introduces fresh training approach after brave Serbia win
ENGLAND stars enjoyed a scenic bike ride after kicking off their Euros campaign with a win over Serbia.
Jude Bellingham scored a 13th-minute winner in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday in a tight game of few chances.
The Three Lions talisman was the star performer and he unwound with a bike trip near England‘s base in central Germany.
England are staying at the plush Weimarer Land Golf Hotel and Spa and went for a cycle around the nearby forests.
All 26 players in the squad picked up a mountain bike and helmet as boss Gareth Southgate sought to instil a bit of relaxation.
Winger Jarrod Bowen looked delighted to be on two wheels as he posed by standing on his pedals.
John Stones and Declan Rice also looked the part as they flashed the camera a smile alongside Bukayo Saka.
Marc Guehi appeared to be in a cheery mood after impressing in his Euros debut.
The squad is recouping ahead of their second Euro 2024 clash against Denmark on Thursday.
It remains to be seen whether Southgate will mix up a winning team after Phil Foden and captain Harry Kane underwhelmed against Serbia.

Alan Shearer explained Kane had a different role against Serbia, which saw him more isolated.
The former England striker said: “Harry Kane’s role in Sunday’s Euro 2024 win against Serbia was different to what we are used to seeing him do for England, but it was just as important for the team.
“We know Kane can drop deep and play wonderful passes forward for runners to get behind the opposition but, whether we were on top in the game or under pressure, he had another job to do in Gelsenkirchen.
“As he explained afterwards, he stayed high early on because Serbia were defending deep and marking man-to-man.
“If he had dropped into midfield he would have brought a defender back with him, when we wanted to give our midfielders and other forwards as much room and time on the ball as possible.
“The plan was to leave the midfield to it because, although Kane was not getting the ball, he was still drawing defenders to him, which allowed our other players more space.”
