MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) – Train service in and out of Penn Station is severely delayed during the Tuesday morning commute, according to officials.

The delays, caused by both a disabled commuter train and overhead wire issues, can last up to 90 minutes, according to Amtrak.

Midtown Direct trains are being diverted to Hoboken, according to NJ Transit. Rail tickets will be cross-honored by NJ Transit, private buses and PATH at Newark-Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd Street-New York.
