The Dutchman, 54, was given the thumbs up to stay on at Old Trafford next season following a two-week end-of-season review last night.

And Sir Jim Ratcliffe has performed a dramatic U-turn by not only sticking with Ten Hag but also opening talks on a new deal with the United boss.
That decision has been made despite the fact that Ratcliffe and his Ineos team sounded out a number of potential managers to replace him.
And even Ten Hag admitted he knew they had held talks with Thomas Tuchel in a process that was “forbidden” in his homeland.
Now the man that looks to have saved his job has broken their silence over the decision to keep him.
And England midfielder Mainoo, who scored the winner at Wembley against City and came on as sub for England in their win over Serbia on Monday, says he is delighted.
The 19-year-old academy graduate was asked about Ten Hag ahead of the Three Lions second group game against Denmark on Thursday.
And he said: “Obviously happy to be building with him.

“It is nice to have that peace of mind, that we know what manager we are going back to in the new season.
“I am so grateful for him, that he put so much trust in me and belief in me to play in the team. I can’t thank him enough.”
Mainoo appeared off the bench in England’s opening group game in Gelsenkirchen.
And he could face his United team-mates Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund in Frankfurt if he gets the nod to take on the Danes.
