Palace Theatre announces 2024 free summer movies

The Palace Theatre in Albany has announced its free “Summer in the City” movie lineup for 2024. The family-friendly movies run throughout July and August.

Lineup

• July 9: "Wish"
• July 16: "Shrek"
• July 23: "The Lion King"
• July 30: "Wonka"
• August 6: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem"
• August 13: "Trolls: Band Together"
• August 20: "The Princess and the Frog"
• August 28: "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse"

Doors open at noon with fun activities before the movie starts at 1 p.m. Kids 12 years and under get free popcorn.
