Princess Beatrice Gets Casual Chic in Bow-Embellished Flats at Journal House Visit in Cannes
Princess Beatrice got comfortable in a pair of slingback flats from Ella while visiting Journal House in Cannes, France for a discussion about emotional intelligence in the age of artificial intelligence with Spotify on Monday afternoon.
Choosing a black and ivory colorway iteration of the popular silhouette, Princess Beatrice’s shoes featured a triangular crafting in the upper region of the shoe and was characterized by a striped black and white design accentuated by an oversized black suede bow. The shoes were completed by a black strap around the ankle for the finishing touches.
The royal paired her elegant flats with a checkered orange A-line dress featuring a tie along the waistline. She completed her look with loose hair and all-natural makeup. The comfy choice was in line with her typical elevated footwear choices. At the event, she posed alongside Dustee Jenkins, Spotify’s Chief Public Affairs Officer, who showcased a pair of white Gucci sneakers.
For a special event celebrating the success of nutraceutical expert Gabriela Peacock in London this past April, Princess Beatrice slipped into a pair of sleek pointed-toe pumps made with leather. Splashed in a dark burgundy-coated color they featured a precise angular upper rounded out by a stiletto heel that measured an estimated 3.5 inches.
Those shoes mirrored a similar pair of pointed-toe pumps from Jimmy Choo the royal wore this past September for a private viewing of the “Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto” exhibit held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Those pumps included black suede uppers, an angular pointed-toe and a thin 3 to 4 inch stiletto heel.
She also went for a pump look at the 2023 Royal Ascot event in June 2023, where she was spotted wearing a pair of beige leather Chanel slingback pumps that boasted a black grosgrain cap-toe and a mid-sized block heel. Aside from Jimmy Choo and Chanel, the Royal has also been spotted in a number of other footwear designers including Gianvitto Rossi, Burberry and more.
