Football is again a driving force in scenes yet to air, with partner Jean (Gillian Wright) jealous when Harvey arranges to watch the England match with Maya in The Vic.
Maya gets a headache during the game, so Harvey suggests going to the Slater house to watch there instead.
While at No.31, Maya is extra nice and starts to win Jean over, but raises her suspicions after Maya goes to make tea and takes a long time.
Things take a turn when Jean goes to check on her guest and makes a shocking discovery.
Back when Harvey first met Maya, he initially lost her phone number and resolved to track her down via social media, with assistance from Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall).
This didn’t go down well with Maya, who disliked being “stalked” on social media.
Earlier this month, the mysterious new addition told Harvey she had a husband, who was also a taxi driver, who passed away in 2023.
This led to the widow deleting her social media profiles, something Harvey had realised when trying to contact her.
Maya explained being a widow had made her more vulnerable to scammers.
Sleuthing viewers, however, have shared their suspicions of the character, suspecting she’s up to no good.
A fan theory suggests she may have specifically targeted Harvey, with a possible reasoning being due to a connection with his son, Aaron (Charlie Wernham), who was last seen two years ago.
The younger Monroe featured in the show from 2021 to 2022.
During his stint in Walford, Aaron was revealed to be the leader of a far-right group and held racist views.
