‘Screw this company, I quit’ fumes WWE star Drew McInytre before mysteriously deleting all social media accounts
DREW MCINTYRE shocked fans by QUITTING WWE and walking out live on air.
The Scottish wrestling star, 39, was famously released by WWE in 2014 only to return three years later to eventually become world champion.
Drew McIntyre quit WWE live on Monday Night Raw[/caption] CM Punk screwed him out of the title once again at Clash at the Castle[/caption]He climbed to the top of the mountain once again back at WrestleMania in April by defeating Seth Rollins to become world heavyweight champion.
However, after an attack by CM Punk, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to beat him and claim the belt.
McIntyre and Punk have been feuding ever since despite both having spells out through injury.
But last weekend came the Scottish Terminator’s big chance of redemption on home turf.
WWE headed to Glasgow for its Clash at the Castle spectacular, which was main evented by a title rematch involving the Scot and Priest.
The champ suffered a nasty leg injury in the early stages and McIntyre looked set to take advantage and reclaim the championship.
But after hitting his Claymore Kick while the referee was down injured, another official raced out to make the count – only for it to emerge that it was Punk, who stopped on two before giving his rival a double finger salute.
The stunned McIntyre began to throttle his arch-nemesis, but he was soon hit by a low blow before Priest hit his finisher and claimed the win.

An irate McIntyre had to be restrained after the show went off-air while the Rangers fan was trolled by Celtic on social media after Punk had been pictured wearing their colours.
Punk was expected to announce that he had been given the all-clear to return to action from his arm injury on this week’s SmackDown.
And that was due to set-up a potential SummerSlam showdown with McIntyre.
But now that plan has gone up in smoke after he stormed off and left WWE on Monday Night Raw.
McIntyre came out to face the crowd on Raw, but as the audience sang for Punk, his anger boiled over.
“Screw this company, I quit,” he fumed before throwing down the mic and storming out of the arena.
The irate Scot doubled down when he was confronted by general manager Adam Pearce on his way to the back.
He then reiterated that to WWE’s legendary chief Triple H in the gorilla position backstage prior to leaving the building.
And if that was not enough, he caused further speculation over his future by deactivating all of his social media accounts.
While the move looks likely to be part of a storyline, it still sent fans wild as they await the next chapter in the compelling feud between him and Punk.
