‘In my basket immediately’ gush shoppers as they spot ‘perfect’ £22 skirt in Sainsbury’s in very on-trend print
FASHION fans have hailed a supermarket for releasing the “skirt of dreams” for the summer season.
They’ve insisted the printed midaxi skirt can be dressed up or down after spotting it in Sainsbury’s.
The Leopard Print Side Split Midaxi Skirt is available in sizes 8 to 24 and costs £22.
And you’ll be immediately on-trend when you wear it as 90s leopard print has made a huge comeback this summer.
Picking it up in a recent haul, size 22 fashionista Poppy Adams said: “Tu Clothing successfully made the midaxi skirt of my dreams!
“All their new in summer bits are unreal – they’re just dropping banger after banger.”
She added: “When I first saw this skirt on the TU Clothing website I was like, in my basket immediately.
“In my opinion, this is the perfect midaxi skirt.
“We’ve got a little slit and an elasticated waist. This is 10 out of 10 in my opinion.
“You all know my undying love for TU Clothing but I swear, every year they just keep getting better and better.”
Poppy, who splits her time between Edinburgh and Essex, first paired the skirt with a blue T-shirt, flat sandals and a denim jacket for a casual look.
She then swapped out her footwear for black heeled sandals and popped on a tan waistcoat to show how it can be transformed into a night time outfit.
Poppy’s Instagram clip has since gone viral with more than 80,000 views.
“Consider me influenced, I bought the leopard skirt”, gushed one shopper.
A second wrote: “Love this skirt, just got it myself for my holiday at the end of the work, the split is great.”
And a third insisted: “That skirt is totally perfect. So many ways to style it.”
There is currently a 25% off sale across all Tu Clothing items in-store and online, so if you do manage to ge your hands on the stunning skirt it will only cost you £16.50.
But it looks like you’ll have to head to your nearest supermarket to find it, as it’s completely sold out online.
“I am so sad the skirt is out of stock”, cried one gutted fashionista.
Someone else echoed: “It’s already sold out.”
Meanwhile, a third wrote: “I can’t find this skirt on Tu! So so sad!”
The supermarket’s 25% off clothing promotion ends on June 27.
