Rihanna’s ‘sexy era is over’ – her cleavage & ‘clunky’ style show she’s ‘not feeling confident about her post-baby body’

UNLIKE other celebrities who continue to court the limelight in nearly-naked outfits, Rihanna’s full-on body-baring days are over, a New York stylist has said.

She weighed in on the mom of two’s baggy clothes and claimed she was “unmotivated” to shed any postpartum weight.

Rihanna, 36, responded to rumors on Tuesday that she was expecting her third child.

She promoted her Fenty range in Los Angeles and told Entertainment Tonight she was “not pregnant.”

Speculation had grown after the makeup mogul was spotted in several loose-fitting outfits covering her body.

When she celebrated her birthday in Milan, for example, Rihanna was dressed in a loose-fitting outfit and covered by a gray jacket.

Stylist Tavia Sharp said surprisingly, Rihanna was feeling “self-conscious.”

The pop star also wore a big fake fur coat in New York.

“Rihanna’s sexy era and putting it all out there is over for good,” Sharp told The U.S. Sun.

“For the first time, Rihanna feels self-conscious about her body image.

“She was typically a trendsetter, and people knew her as a global fashion icon.

“Now Rihanna is not feeling confident about her post-baby body.

“The baggy clothes show she is also not motivated to return to her pre-baby weight.”

The Fenty Beauty founder gave birth to Riot Rose in August.

This is Rihanna’s second child with her partner A$AP Rocky, whom she started dating in 2020.

The couple’s first son, RZA was born in 2022.

The new short hair is pulling all the attention from her body and curves, which are covered.

Interestingly, the Diamond singer’s maternity outfits included see-through fabrics and bright colors before her first birth.

Her bump-barring confidence showed when she posed in jeans and a pink coat, which she left open for a magazine shoot.

COVER OR CLUTCH

Sharp said Rihanna had done a 180 after the second birth.

“Rihanna had her kids almost back to back, so this is a body thing right now for her,” she said.

“The first thing to consider is that she has not had much time between the two births.

“She has started wearing clunky, heavy clothes.

She was the one who first rocked a naked dress the night she won a CDFA.

“Rihanna also has her hands in front of her body while clutching and covering her front area.

“There are clunky belts, heavy leather jackets, and a bubbly look where everything is bubbling in the front.

“This is a completely different look for her hair as well.

“The new short hair is pulling all the attention from her body and curves, which are covered.”

From New York’s Met Gala to the streets of Barbados, Rhianna’s dresses and crop tops were always revealing and caused a stir.

The Ocean’s 8 star’s CDFA appearance in 2014 first set the ball rolling in Hollywood.

Celebrities jumped on the bandwagon and opted for similar see-through looks.

Rihanna can say it all she wants that she is happy with her body.

At the time, the nine-time Grammy Award winner’s groundbreaking naked dress showed her passion for risk-taking.

She accepted the prestigious Fashion Icon Award.

NAKED NO MORE

Sharp said the Barbadian beauty is going against the styles that Hollywood celebrities like Bianca Censori have since adopted.

“This is now going against the trend she kicked off and also what most other celebrities are doing right now,” she said.

“She was once the girl who wore see-through clothes a lot more than anybody else.

“She was the one who first rocked a naked dress the night she won a CDFA.

“Now we have the contrast to someone like Bianca Censori who is out there wearing see-through plastic and totally body confident.”

Interestingly, insofar as body image and confidence go, the Fenty founder has often claimed she was in the driving seat.

“You’ve just got to laugh at yourself, honestly. I mean, I know when I’m having a fat day and when I’ve lost weight. I accept all of the bodies,” she told Vogue in 2018.

“I’m not built like a Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie.”

ABOUT THE BOYS

Sharp claims now marks a dramatic switch for Rihanna as she starts to raise two boys.

“Rihanna can say it all she wants that she is happy with her body,” she said.

“This is a mom thing where she is not feeling a hundred percent confident.

“She is still showing her top cleavage, which is interesting.

“She has the bras hanging out and that sexiness that she’s trying to uphold up top.

It is as if Rihanna is only feeling sexy from her breasts up, which is a first for her.

“But she is covering her lower half and avoiding this area being seen, legs included.

“She would throw this coat on even though it’s so out of place, weather-wise.

“It is as if Rihanna is only feeling sexy from her breasts up, which is a first for her.

“Rihanna does seem happy in her marriage, so the covering up is not about that.

“But her body cover-up is about becoming a mom and, perhaps more importantly, a mom to two boys.”
