Now fans will get the chance to see the chef in a whole new context with a six part series called Tom Kerridge Cooks Britain.

During the cooking show Tom will travel around the UK in a remodelled 1950s food truck, meeting people in rural areas who are responsible for sourcing local produce.

And the Michelin star chef won’t shy away from getting stuck in.

He plans to get his whole production team in working alongside everyone from Cornish fishermen to Scottish fruit farmers in a bid to learn about their trades.

After putting in a hard shift, Tom will whip up a delicious meal using the produce they all learned about.

The show is set to start airing on Thursday, July 4 at 8.30pm.

ITV partnered up with M&S to produce it, and it was commissioned by by ITV’s Head of Entertainment Katie Rawcliffe.

The Marketing Director at M&S Food, Sharry Crammond, shared: “We are absolutely delighted to be strengthening our partnership with Tom by bringing Tom Kerridge Cooks Britain to ITV in the summer, and helping to showcase the very best of British farming and quality, in-season produce.

“We’re incredibly proud that all of the farms that will be shown throughout the series supply M&S Food with their products, and we know our customers will love being able to find all of the ingredients for the recipes at their local M&S Foodhall. It truly is a perfect fit for everyone involved!”

Bone Soup Creative Director Richard Bowron added: “Tom celebrates the best British produce in his pubs and restaurants so this road trip is right up his street.

“Whether he’s doing an early shift on a dairy farm or going out in choppy seas to catch fish, Tom will want to get stuck in. And I’m sure everyone will love his recipes.”

Tom and his wife Beth opened a gastropub called The Hand & Flowers in 2005.

Within the first year, he gained his first Michelin star.

In 2012 he won a second Michelin star – becoming the first publican to ever win the coveted prize.

The pub is located in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and is located at 126 West St, Marlow, SL7 2BP.

Alongside his two pubs, The Hand & Flowers and The Coach, Tom owns five restaurants.
