Kevin Parada flashed his bat on Tuesday night for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

After the social media team finally got their picture back, the Mets catching prospect belted a two-run homer in the first inning off Akron starter Aaron Davenport.

The homer was Parada’s seventh of the season, and much needed for the Mets 2022 first-round draft selection. After going 1-for-3 on Tuesday, Parada is only slashing .194/.278/.350 in 180 at-bats.

Triple-A
Rochester Red Wings 2 (36-32), Syracuse Mets 12 (43-26)

Box Score

Syracuse routed the Red Wings to take home a 12-2 victory. The offense was powered by Pablo Reyes, who was recently acquired from the Red Sox. Reyes went a perfect 5-for-5 with six runs driven in and two doubles.

Brett Baty struggled, going 0-for-3 with two walks and one run driven in. The Mets’ top prospect still has an impressive .395 batting average and 1.166 OPS down in Triple-A.

The Mets pitching staff shut down the Red Wings. Christian Scott didn’t have the strikeout stuff, but allowed only one run across 4 1/3 innings. Ty Adcock earned the win in relief and allowed one earned run on three hits.

Matt Festa finished the ninth with a shutdown inning. The righty didn’t allow any base runners and lowered his ERA to 2.19 on the season

Double-A
Binghamton Rumble Ponies 8 (32-30), Akron RubberDucks 7 (35-29)

The Rumble Ponies offense powered the squad to a 8-7 victory over the RubberDucks (Guardians). Parada jumpstarted the offense with a two-run homer in the first, giving the Rumble Ponies a lead they’d never relinquish.

Alex Ramírez had a big offensive night, going 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs. The former top Mets prospect has struggled this season, but Tuesday was an indicator of his potential. Rowdey Jordan also impressed, going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Ryan Clifford went 0-for-4 but walked once.

Tyler Stuart had another encouraging start for the Rumble Ponies. He followed up his 10-strikeout performance with four across five innings on Tuesday, while allowing only two earned runs.

After Stuart, Jordan Geber and Wilkin Ramos were lights out. The two didn’t allow any runs over three combined innings and held the Rumble Ponies victory. Trey McLoughlin, however, had a rough outing, allowing four earned on four hits in the eighth inning.

High-A
Jersey Shore BlueClaws 7 (37-27, Brooklyn Cyclones 2 (32-32)

Box Score

The Cyclones offense struggled against the BlueClaws on Tuesday. They scored only two runs from singles by William Lugo and Nick Lorusso.

Jefrey De Los Santo had a nice day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a walk. William Lugo also preoccupied the base paths frequently, going 1-for-2 with two walks.

Felipe De La Cruz was solid for Brooklyn. He stuck out four in 4 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs. De La Cruz now has 59 strikeouts in 49 1/3 innings pitched.

Victor Castaneda put the game out of reach in the ninth. After a clean eighth, Castaneda allowed three runs and put the Cyclones behind by five runs.

Low-A
Fort Meyers Mighty Mussels 1 (30-33), St. Lucie Mets 6 (21-43)

Box Score

The St. Lucie Mets cruised to a 6-1 win over the Mighty Mussels. Ronald Hernandez powered the club with a two-hit performance and drove in two runs. Jesus Baez also hit his ninth homer of the season and drove in his 36th and 37th runs.

Joel Díaz shoved again for the St. Lucie Mets. He struck out five over 4 2/3 innings and didn’t allow any runs. Bryce Montes de Oca struggled in his third rehab outing for St. Lucie. He allowed one run but walked three batters in 2/3 innings pitched. Montes de Oca has now walked five in two innings.

FCL
FCL Mets 6 (14-16), FCL Nationals 2 (13-17)

Box Score

The FCL Mets put up six runs to handily defeat the FCL Nationals. Fabian Machado was the only Met to put up a multi-hit performance. Jeremy Rodríguez went 0-for-3.

DSL
DSL Mets 3 (4-7), DSL Yankees 5 (6-4)

Box Score

Davierson Gutierrez continued to impress in the DSL. He hit his fifth double in 11 games and raised his OPS to .951.
