What freebies you can get as a Vodafone customer? See the full list
MAJOR telecoms firm Vodafone has millions of customers – but do they know about the perks available.
Customers are able to access discounts and freebies via its VeryMe Rewards app.
VeryMe Rewards is the loyalty programme for Vodafone mobile customers.
Every week users of the telecoms provider get access to a number of free items or discounts.
All Vodafone mobile phone customers qualify for VeryMe. That includes customers on a pay monthly phone deal or a sim only contract. If you use pay-as-you services you also have access.
To see what rewards are on offer you must download the My Vodafone app on either your Apple or Android device.
Once you download the app you will have access to the rewards page and can see what discounts are available.
The offers change every few days and so customers are encouraged to check the app regularly.
What is up for grabs this week?
A chance to win Argos Gift Cards
This week Vodafone is giving away £5 Argos eGift cards. To enter you must download the app and tap ‘Rewards’ to play for your chance to win one.
Users will also find out if they have won or not straight away.
The prize draw opens until 23 June 2024 and 2,000 vouchers are up for the taking.
45% off a shop at Boohoo Man
Shoppers have a chance to whack 45% off their next purchase at Boohoo Man.
Users of the Vodafone app can log on and redeem a code, which they can use the next time they shop on the online retailer’s website.
The offer excludes items on sale and other selected lines, also the discount does not apply to delivery which will cost £3.99.
It is important to note that only one code is available per user.
The deal is running until 28 July 2024. You can purchase multiple items in one transaction.
Two standard ODEON tickets for just £8, or two Luxe tickets for just £13.
This week Vodafone is also giving users the chance to get two ODEON cinema tickets for £8, or upgrade to its Luxe offer for £13.
You’ll pay a £1 booking fee when you book tickets online.
But you can also book for free onsite at your chosen cinema.
If you are a Vodafone user and you want to avail of this offer follow these tip:
- Go to the ODEON website.
- Choose your cinema, film, date and time.
- Select your two seats.
- Add your unique code first in the ‘Have a special code’ box and select ‘voucher’ for the code type.
- Select 1 VodafoneUK Offer Standard or Recliner if booking at a Luxe venue.
This offer expires today 19 June 2024. Vodafone regular partners with ODEON cinema so if you miss this deal another you can be sure another will crop up.
Free three-month trial of Apple TV+.
This offer is running until the midnight on the 4 September 2024. Users get three months free access to Apple TV.
It is important to note that If you are a current Apple TV+ subscriber, you will not be eligible for this offer.
Also it should be noted that after the three-month free trial your Apple TV+ subscription will automatically renew at a cost of £8.99 per month unless cancelled.

How to save on your mobile phone bill

NOT happy with your current mobile phone deal?
If you’re outside the minimum term of your contract then you won’t need to pay a cancellation fee – and you might be able to find a cheaper deal elsewhere.
But don’t just switch contracts because the price is cheaper than what you’re currently paying.
Take a look at how many minutes and texts, as well as how much data you’re using, to find out which deal is best for you.
For example, if you’re a heavy internet user it’s worth finding a deal that accommodates this so you don’t end up spending extra on bundles or add-ons each month.
Also note that if you’re still in your contract period, you might be charged an exit fee.
Ready to look elsewhere? Pay-as-you-go deals are better for people who don’t regularly use their phone, while monthly contracts usually work out cheaper for those who do.
It’s worth using comparison websites, such as MoneySupermarket and uSwitch.com, to compare tariffs and phone prices.
Billmonitor also matches buyers to the best pay-monthly deal based on their previous three months of bills.
It only works if you’re a customer of EE, O2, Three, Vodafone or Tesco Mobile and you’ll need to log in with your online account details.
There’s also MobilePhoneChecker, which has a bill monitoring feature that recommends a tariff based on your monthly usage.
If you’re happy with your provider then it might be worth using your research to haggle a better deal.
How to access the MyVery Rewards App
You must be a Vodafone user to access its MyVery Rewards scheme.
In order to do this, you must download the My Vodafone app onto your Apple or Android device.
It does not matter if you are on a bill pay or a pay as your go deal, all Vodafone customers qualify for the scheme.
To use the app you will need your eligible Vodafone SIM card in a mobile device running iOS 12 or later which covers almost every Apple device sold in the past decade or a mobile device running Android 5 or later.
If you do not use Vodafone as your mobile service provider, do not worry as lots of providers offer rewards for customers.
Fellow service provider Virgin Media 02 run a ‘Priority’ rewards scheme, which like Vodafone, offers customers discounts on restaurants and cafe’s.
Customers at EE can also get discounts from brands like Adidas, New Look and Pizza Express by purchasing discounted gift vouchers which are added to your mobile bill.
