City of Tartu planning modern makeover for other public river beach too

Tartu city government has plans to give the public river beach on the Supilinn side of the Emajõgi a modern update. Neighborhood residents, however, want the beach to remain more untamed, and for any new paved paths and equipment to be made from environmentally friendly materials.
