Gov. Hochul to sign bill adding protections for kids on social media

NEW YORK (PIX11) – New legislation aimed at keeping children safe online is just hours from becoming law in New York.

Gov. Kathy Hochul is set to sign a pair of bills Thursday requiring new standards for social media, including changes to algorithms and data collection.
