Hot & humid for first day of summer in Central Ohio

Our heat wave continues in Central Ohio. In fact, today through Saturday look to be our hottest days of the stretch. Humidity drops ever so slightly, but the flip side is that temperatures warm, so it will still feel like the triple digits across the region. Because of the heat and humidity, our isolated, pop-up storm chance remains a possibility through the next several days.
Additionally, air quality continues to worsen, and is forecast to get up near 100 today, which puts us in the orange, "unhealthy for sensitive groups" category. It will be something to monitor for the next few days.
As we get into Sunday, a cold front approaches the region. Temperatures top out in the lower 90s, and we'll be tracking scattered thunderstorms mainly during the afternoon and evening.
Monday will feel considerably nicer, as temperatures drop back to the upper 80s, and humidity falls significantly.
