Channel 4 bosses are now on the hunt for brand new contestants to take part in its next series.

Announcing a call out for participants, producers said: “We’re looking for all types of venues big and small, from glamping sites, to pubs with rooms, traditional B&Bs or even country manors!”

However, they added for businesses to be eligible to take part they must have a minimum of three guest rooms.

The news comes after it was revealed Come Dine with Me will also return with a new series.

Its spin-off series, called The Professionals, recently broadcast on Channel 4.

The format sees local restaurants going head-to-head, rather than amateur individual cooks as in the original show.

Viewers watched as each owner took turns hosting their rivals with a three-course dinner.

Just like the regular version, they’re scored at the end of the evening.
