EASTENDERS fans were left baffled as the show appeared to switch out one of its actors mid-way through an episode.

Chelsea‘s young son Jordan Fox looked dapper in a white suit as he and his family geared up for his baptism.

The Fox family lined up along the street outside of their home as they cheered little Jordan on as he made his way to a waiting vehicle.

Jordan had a huge smile on his face as mum Chelsea looked super proud as they celebrated his big day.

However, just moments later, those watching along at home were left scratching their heads as a different actor had appeared to take over the role of Jordan mid-episode.

The continuity error saw the child played by a different star once inside the baptism ceremony.

Remarking on the unusual filming choice, fans flocked to X to have their say.

One fan posted: “Did EastEnders really think that we wouldn’t notice that Jordan’s face changed halfway through the episode?

“I noticed straight away, they ain’t slick.”

Another added: “That’s what I was thinking, I was like who is this.”

However, for some, the revelation came as a total surprise.

In response, one fan wrote: “Wait I didn’t even realise.”

Before another confessed they they too didn’t quite catch the filming mishap.

The episode was tinged with sadness as it revisited Yolande Trueman’s sexual assault at the hands of the evil Pastor Gideon Clayton.

In the episode, Pastor Clayton was presiding over the ceremony which led Denise to notice that Yolande was appearing to act out of sorts.

As Denise went over to check if all was okay, Pastor Clayton made sure to intercept the conversation and smugly told Yolande: “I hope you didn’t say something to Denise that you’ll regret.”

After his victim confirmed she’d said “nothing”, the villain added: “That’s good. I wouldn’t want you making a fool of yourself, Yolande.

“In front of your friends, your family and in front of God.”
