Boots shoppers rushing to buy ‘adorable’ mobile phone accessory that’s scanning for just 50p instead of £25

BOOTS shoppers have been rushing to buy an “adorable” mobile phone accessory that’s scanning for just 50p.

The Disney x Skinny Dip phone case usually costs £25 but has been spotted at a reduced price on the shelves of the retailer.

A savvy shopper shared photos of the phone cases, featuring Disney characters including Ariel and other princesses, on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

The cases fit phones including the iPhone 11, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14.

The customer shared two photos of the phone cases on offer at Boots and wrote: “Boots, these are down from £25.”

The shopper said she found them at a Boots store in Kirkcaldy, Scotland.

Another group member tagged a friend and asked: “If you see these at this price can you pick me some up please?”

If you’re keen to snap one of these items up, it could be worth calling your local branch to see if it has any in stock.

You can find your nearest Boots branch by using the retailer’s store locator on its website.

But you should always remember to shop around before buying anything like this as you might find the item cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Price Spy let you compare prices on thousands of products to find out where it will cost you the least.

You can also have a quick scan on the Google Shopping/Product tab to see how much retailers are selling a particular item for.

Boots often gives customers convenient prices thanks to its offers and limited-edition promotions.

Yesterday, we reported that the retailer launched another limited edition bundle, saving you over £100.

The Boots Limited Edition Buyers Picks Beauty Box retails for £45 but contains £156 worth of beauty products, across make-up and skincare.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.

This week, shoppers also cleared the shelves of 30p cans of a popular product which normally sells for £1.

Asda has slashed the price of John West tinned tuna down to just 39p a can.
