7 countries sign UN convention on judicial sale of ships in Malta

VALLETTA, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Malta and six other countries on Wednesday signed the United Nations (UN) Convention on the International Effects of Judicial Sales of Ships, also known as the Beijing Convention on the Judicial Sale of Ships.

During a ceremony presided by Malta's President Myriam Spiteri Debono, the document was signed by Croatia, Cyprus, Italy, Malta, Spain, Cote d'Ivoire and Antigua and Barbuda.<
