Double leg break: Olympic cycling champion Archibald out of Paris 2024 after freak accident

Britain's two-time Olympic cycling champion Katie Archibald will miss the Paris 2024 Games due to a double leg fracture sustained in a freak garden accident. The 30-year-old Scottish athlete fractured her tibia and fibula and dislocated an ankle after tripping over a garden step, resulting in substantial ligament damage.
