Watervliet Police capture hen after a foot pursuit

Watervliet Police apprehended Feather Locklear, a feather-covered fugitive, during an on-foot chase on Wednesday.

WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Watervliet Police apprehended Feather Locklear, a feather-covered fugitive, during an on-foot chase on Wednesday. Police said residents should remember Watervliet City Code 108-7, which restricts the ownership or possession of farm animals, like chickens, within city limits.

Police said Locklear was on the run from officers on Monday and Tuesday. When police spotted her on Wednesday, a foot pursuit led to her arrest.

Police said Locklear is a co-conspirator to the hen police captured on Monday, Hennifer Aniston. Police said the chickens were not harmed when they were captured and returned.
