Independence Day is quickly approaching on Thursday, July 4. If you’re looking to celebrate, cities and towns around the Capital Region will be hosting parades, firework displays, and other events throughout Fourth of July weekend.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Independence Day is quickly approaching on Thursday, July 4. If you’re looking to celebrate, cities and towns around the Capital Region will be hosting parades, fireworks displays, and other events throughout Fourth of July weekend.

New York State’s Fourth of July Celebration, Albany

New York State's Fourth of July Celebration is set for July 4 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers are set to headline the event. The celebration, presented by the New York State Office of General Services and Price Chopper/Market 32, will also feature a fireworks show, as well as food and drink vendors.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam’s Independence Day Fest Sponsored by DANVANN is set for July 3 in Riverlink Park. The event includes food trucks, food and drink specials from Drifter's, music, and fireworks.

Berne

Berne is celebrating with fireworks, ice cream, snow cones, pony rides, hot dogs, and a food truck in Berne Memorial Town Park on Saturday, June 29. The event starts at 3 p.m.

Bethlehem

Bethlehem is holding a 4th of July Family Day on July 4 from noon to 8 p.m. at the Elm Avenue Pool Complex. The day includes performances by Saxophone Sam, Magician Jim Snack, Playin' with Fire, Balloon Gal Jenny, and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Bolton Landing

Bolton Landing is having a 4th of July Celebration on July 4 with live music, magicians, and fireworks at Rogers Memorial Park. The event starts at 11 a.m. and ends with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Catskill

The Village of Catskill will be having a 4th of July Celebration on Saturday, July 6 at Dutchman's Landing. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with The Soul Purpose Band followed by fireworks.

Clifton Park

The Town of Clifton Park is having a Fourth of July Celebration on July 4 at Clifton Common. The event A Freedom Mile, parade, food vendors, carnival rides, live music, and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The celebration starts at 11:45 a.m.

Corinth

Corinth is having its annual Independence Day fireworks display on July 6 at dusk. The fireworks will be set off from the school’s River Street field (formerly the EMBA field).

Glens Falls

The City of Glens Falls will host the return of its Summer Pops Concert on July 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Crandall Park. The Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra will perform, followed by fireworks at dusk.

Greenwich

The Washington County Fairgrounds is having a fireworks display on July 3 with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. The event includes food trucks.

Hague

Hague is having an Independence Day celebration o July at Hague Town Park. Barkeater band will be performing at 6:30 p.m. and fireworks will start at 9:15 p.m.

Hudson Falls/Kingsbury

Hudson Falls and Kingsbury are having a 4th of July Celebration on July from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The 1925 Barn, the Kingsbury National Golf Course and Fire Rock Restaurant. The event features bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, a Tom Petty tribute band, and fireworks. Tickets are $10 and children under 12 are free.

Lake George

The Village of Lake George will be hosting a fireworks display on July 4 at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks can be viewed at Shepard’s Park on Canada Street.

Northville

The Northville DOINS celebration will be July 4 through 6. The event will kick off at 5 p.m. on Thursday with entertainment, food, vendors, and activities in Waterfront Park. On Friday, Tailspin will be performing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and fireworks will be at dusk. The parade will kick off on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Pittsfield, Mass.

The City of Pittsfield is holding its annual Car Show to benefit the Fourth of July Parade on June 30 at the McKay Street Parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Pittsfield Parade Concert is set for July 3 at 6:30 p.m. The Greater Kensington String Band and the WhoaPhat BrassBand will be performing. The Berkshire Health Systems 4th of July 5K Road Race is set for July 4 at 8:30 a.m. before the parade kicks off at 10 a.m.

Salem

Salem is hosting a 4th of July Parade and Carnival on July 4. The parade kicks off at 4 p.m. and runs from Main Street to the first parking lot at Salem Central School. The carnival begins after the parade and runs until 8 p.m.

Saratoga Springs

Saratoga Springs is bringing back its All American Celebration to Ellsworth Jones Place on July 4. The event features live music, food, and fireworks at dusk.

Rotterdam Junction

Schenectady County has partnered with the Schenectady County Historical Society to host an Independence Day Celebration on July 3 at the Mabee Farm Historic Site from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The free family-friendly event includes games, activities, food, drinks, and fireworks after dark.

Scotia

Scotia is having its annual Independence Day Fireworks Show on Friday, June 28 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Collins Park. The event includes live music, food vendors, and a Water Ski Show by the U.S. Water Ski Show Team on the Mohawk River.

Stillwater

Brown's Beach at Saratoga Lake in Stillwater is having fireworks on Saturday, July 6 at dusk. Parking is available for $5 starting at 9 a.m.

Ticonderoga

Ticonderoga is hosting its annual Best 4th in the North celebration. The full weekend runs from July 1 to July 4. Food, vendors, and live music run through the whole weekend, with a 4th of July parade at 2 p.m. on Thursday and fireworks at dusk.

Waterford

Waterford is having fireworks on July 5 at the Hurst Harbor Center. the event starts with music at 6 p.m.
