Turkey holidays start from as little as £236pp this summer – and you can even find £3 beers & 30C highs

BRITS love holidays to Turkey, with cheap breaks, delicious food and amazing beaches all on offer.

With summer finally hitting Europe, we’ve rounded up some of the cheapest deals to get you there to make the most of the good weather.

Last year, Turkey was also crowned the “cheapest holiday destination”. Even though it has lost its spot this year, the country still offers incredible value for Brits.

Holidaymakers get almost 70 per cent more for their pound than two years ago — which is around £200 more when converting £500 into Turkish Lira (TL).

Tourists visiting Turkey can enjoy a beach holiday without breaking the bank, as evening meals with a bottle of wine have an average cost of around £20pp.

Meanwhile, bottles of beer cost around £2.85, and coffee is only £1.45.

The best prices are available in June and July, as August is the peak season height due to the school summer holidays.

In June and July, temperatures will reach highs of 33C, with an average temperature around 27C.
