Hello Magazine royal editor Emily Nash slammed vile trolls who have hounded Kate

But she said her appearance does not mean she’s returning to front-line public duty – or mean she’s “out of the woods” amid her cancer treatment.

However, it is a positive step in the right direction after the mum who revealed her diagnosis in February.

Kate’s comeback comes after she was hounded by vile trolls speculating about her absence.

She was eventually forced to ask for privacy in a video message revealing her diagnosis.

Hello Magazine royal editor Emily Nash said William and Kate know about the vile abuse – and people need to be “very careful”.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Emily said: “They do read quite a lot, however much you might try to ignore things.

“Earlier this year the Princess of Wales’s whereabouts was the top discussion on every WhatsApp conversation in the UK and overseas.

“Interestingly, it was driven in particular by a few social media accounts in America.”

Royal expert Emily added: “It’s a really tricky one for the palace to manage, isn’t it?

“If they issue regular denials about these things or engage with them, it’s just giving the rumours more oxygen.

“On the one hand, it’s good for them to be able to say once in a while ‘These are the boundaries – that’s enough please’.

” You and I hear things all the time that we have to be very careful about.

“A lot of these things can be traced to someone making a TikTok in their bedroom.

I was surprised to see Kate in carriage – expert

By Matt Wilkinson

Royal expert Emily Nash said she was surprised to see Princess Kate in the royal carriage for Trooping the Colour but it all made sense when she was seen with her family.

The Princess of Wales, 42, made a stunning return to royal duties when she appeared at Trooping the Colour, marking King Charles’ official birthday.

It is understood her appearance does not herald a return to front-line public duty or an end to Kate’s cancer issues.

However, it is a positive step in the right direction after the mum began treatment at the end of February.

Hello’s royal editor Emily Nash told The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show: “It was surprising to see how much she participated in the carriage procession because they’re not particularly enjoyable experiences.”

But, chatting to The Sun’s royal editor Matt Wilkinson, she added: “Seeing her with her children made it all become clear.

“We’ve heard this from the very start, the way she made her announcement of the cancer diagnosis was all focused around her children and their well-being.

“Once you saw her in the carriage with them, it all made sense.

“In many ways this was the perfect way for her to reappear because she was at the heart of the family.”
