Viral Video: A video of Union Minister Savitri Thakur going viral. In this video, she is writing the slogan ‘Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao’ wrongly in Hindi. While sharing the video, the opposition Congress raised questions over her credibility.

The video captures a program organized under the ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ initiative on Tuesday, 18 June, at a government school in Brahma Kundi, Dhar. Thakur, a Lok Sabha member representing Dhar and recently appointed as the Minister of State for Women and Child Development, was the chief guest for the occasion.

In the video, Thakur is shown incorrectly writing the slogan ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ in the Devanagari script (Hindi) on a whiteboard. Reacting to the viral video, senior Congress leader KK Mishra said that it is the misfortune of democracy that people who hold constitutional posts and are responsible for big departments are not even competent in their mother tongue. How can they be able to run their ministry?’
