Country Music Singer Kane Brown & Wife Katelyn Welcome Baby No. 3 — & His Name Is the Perfect Fit
Kane Brown officially has a family of five! The country music singer and his wife Katelyn just welcomed their third child, and the little boy’s name fits the family’s baby-naming tradition perfectly. Kane and Katelyn are mom and dad to daughters Kingsley, 4 and Kodi, 2, so it was only natural that their son has a “K” name too.
“Krewe Allen Brown 6.18 ????,” Kane captioned a joint Instagram post announcing his son’s arrival.
Krewe! We have to imagine it’s pronounced “crew.” So not only is it sweet that he has the same initials as his family, but since he is the newest addition to the Brown crew, this feels like the perfect fit.
In the birth announcement, Kane shared a photo of him and his wife cradling their newborn in the hospital bed, one of him standing and looking adoringly at his son, another of Katelyn holding little Krewe who is wearing a personalized hat, and a final shot of the little boy’s teeny tiny feet.
“The most amazing birthday present ????????????????,” Katelyn responded because Krewe was born the day before her birthday. One day apart?! How special is that?
The country music community was so happy for the “Bury Me in Georgia” singer. “Congrats buddy????❤️,” Walker Hayes commented. “WOAHHH LETS GOOO THATS SO AWESOME????????,” Bailey Zimmerman added.
Last month, Brown spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how Kingsley and Kodi were feeling about the arrival of their baby brother. He said Kodi — at just 2 years old — “can’t really explain how she feels.”
“But Kingsley is, like, so excited. [She] protects Kate at all times,” Brown told the outlet. “When Kodi tries to get rough with her, she’s like, ‘There’s a baby in Mommy’s belly, stop.’”
How cute is that? Mama’s little protector! Brown revealed that this is the last time Kingsley will have to protect Katelyn’s belly. They’re not planning on picking out another “K” name!
“Oh yeah, we’re done,” he said. “We were surprised with the third one.” It wasn’t long after they learned little Krewe was on his way that Katelyn encouraged her [apparently queasy] husband to get a vasectomy.
“Kate got me neutered already,” the “Miles On It” singer said on The Bobby Bones Show. “And every time she would [tell me you gotta go get it] or tell somebody, dude my stomach, I just get sick.” But the deed was done and Krewe is officially the last member of the Brown crew. Congratulations to the Browns!
