Virat Kohli made his debut in August 2008. He is known as the greatest batsmen of his generation, who holds the record as the highest run-scorer in IPL, ranks second in T20, third in ODI, and stands as the fourth-highest in international cricket. He also holds the record for scoring the most centuries in ODI cricket and stands second in the list of most international centuries scored. He has received many accolades for his performances in cricket.

Many have compared Kohli to the great Sachin Tendulkar, who he considered to be the pinnacle of cricket brilliance, because of the way he approaches the game and his batting technique.
