Las Vegas Aces star Chelsea Gray returned to basketball on Wednesday, and the vibes were totally immaculate. Her 2024 WNBA season debut was filled with so many good moments and tons of “point gawd” references.
Hoops fans have not seen Chelsea Gray since she went down with an injury during Game 3 of the 2023 WNBA Finals. She was unable to finish the series and has been working her way back to form for not only the Aces but also the USA 5×5 Olympic team.
On Wednesday, Gray checked into the game to thunderous applause from the Aces’ home crowd and immediately did point gawd things ― dishing out an assist that ultimately got her up to 1,500 career assists because, of course, she did.
The Aces even went on to beat the Seattle Storm, 94-83, because Gray’s presence, extremely high basketball IQ and facilitation skills are crucial to the team’s success. Overall, Gray’s night included some pretty electric things that you should see.
