The Repair Shop star shares rare photo with adorable toddler as he celebrates career move away from hit BBC show

A STAR of The Repair Shop left fans gushing after his latest social media update.

Furniture restorer Will Kirk, 39, has featured on the popular BBC programme since 2017.

Taking to Instagram, the star shared a selection of sweet photos with his 177,000 followers.

In the update, doting dad Will revealed his Father’s Day gift and in the process, fans got a rare glimpse of his one-year-old daughter.

In the post, The Repair Shop star is shown seated while showing the youngster his new book, titled Restore.

The tot wore a pink cardigan, floral leggings and matching hair bows as she looked at the book with her father.

Will captioned his post: “The best Father’s Day present arrived through my letterbox this weekend”.

He added: “It’s the first copy of my new book, RESTORE. It’s out on 18th July, but available to preorder from Waterstones and Amazon now.”

Gushing fans were quick to flood Will’s comment section, with one writing: “Congratulations!! Celebrating this date with this cuteness and this gift is certainly a blessing!!”

Another remarked:  “This is adorable. Our girls used to say “(what) daddy doing?”

“It’s become a well known phrase or saying in our daily family! Brilliant hearing it again.”

A third shared: “She’s Adorable! I will definitely look up your book on Amazon!”

Meanwhile, a fourth penned: “Your little girl is so adorable! Happy Father’s Day!”

The talented wood craftsman welcomed his daughter with educational psychologist Polly Snowdon, in July 2022, but the couple have kept her name under wraps.

Away from his work on The Repair Shop, Will has featured in other programmes.

He and co-star Jay Blades appeared together in a special celebrity edition of Strike It Lucky.

In 2021, he competed in Celebrity MasterChef, only to be eliminated early on after a dish he prepared contained raw duck.

Alongside Christina Trevanion, Will co-hosted series one of The Travelling Auctioneers, however, he was replaced by JJ Chalmers, Izzie Balmer and Robin Johnson in the second series.

He also put his quizzing skills to the test by appearing in a week of Richard Osman‘s House of Games, against Edith Bowman, Fern Brady and Martin Lewis.
