Ben Affleck Explains His Serious Expression in Paparazzi Pics, Responds to Claim He Has Resting B-tch Face

Ben Affleck opened up about the serious expression that he is often seen making in paparazzi photos.

The 51-year-old star has an expressive face, and he’s been turned into a meme a few times over the years thanks to how he looks.

During a recent interview, he explained why he can look somber in candids of him around town. He even responded to the claim that he has resting b-tch face!

While on Kevin Hart‘s Hart to Heart talk show, Ben said that he is “a little bit shy.”

“I also don’t like a lot of attention. That’s why people see me and they’re like, ‘Why’s this dude always mad?’ Because somebody has their camera and sticks it in my face and I’m like, ‘Okay, here we go,’” he said, via EW.

The actor continued, saying that he is particularly bothered when paparazzi follow him with his kids.

“I don’t mind, you can take my picture at a club or a premiere, with my wife [Jennifer Lopez], I don’t give a f-ck. Knock yourself out. I don’t notice you. But with my children, that’s a different thing,” he explained.

Does Ben think that he has resting b-tch face? “B-tch?! Now, now, I have resting hard face,” he told Kevin.

Despite his serious expression, Ben added that his face is not telling the total story in any picture: “People are projecting something onto me that I don’t feel about myself at all.”
