Maya Jama kisses Stormzy in romantic Parisian video as fans think rapper has proposed
MAYA Jama and Stormzy delighted fans with romantic snaps from their trip to Paris.
The couple instantly sparked rumours that they were engaged after a photographer captured a loved-up moment.
Standing by huge open windows in a stunning Parisian apartment, Maya and Stormzy gazed into each other’s eyes.
“for a second I thought the first pic was giving engagement,” one wrote.
The comment collected plenty of replies from fans who also thought the same thing.
“Me too omg,” one replied, while another said: “Same!”
“get married already!” chimed a fourth.
Others thought that the black and white shot was a pregnancy announcement.
The post picked up dozens of comments calling them “mum and dad”.
“I thought it was pregnancy announcement,” said one fan, while another added: “4th slide is giving mom and dad”.
The pair weren’t announcing a proposal or baby news, they were in the French capital for a Louis Vuitton event.
In a black and white reel showed the highlights of their trip, with the couple sharing a smooch before heading out to the star-studded event.
They held hands and laughed together in a taxi before posing at the LVovers showcase.
Maya shared her own snaps from the weekend, which included Louis Vuitton freebies and bottles of Moet.
She wore a midnight blue velvet shirt and trouser combo in the Louis Vuitton’s trademark chequered print.
The TV star wore her sleek hair down and accessorized with a box clutch bag.
The Love Island host and the South-London born artist, initially dated from 2014 to 2019.
Three years into their relationship, Stormzy’s music career took off.
The Vossi Bop star even penned the song Birthday Girl to his current flame back in 2016, with the TV presenter even appearing in the music video.
In 2017, the rap king revealed to The Mirror, that he had been thinking about proposing to Maya.
He said: “I’m still so young but I want to propose, it’s going to happen and I will do it right. She is the best.”
However, two short years later, fans were left heartbroken as the two abruptly split-up after 4 years together.
Their break-up inspired the musician to write heartfelt 2019 song Lessons.
In 2021, it had been reported that Maya had found love again with NBA player Ben Simmons, 27.
But the romance would be short-lived, when the couple reportedly ended their engagement back in August 2022.
In August 2023, Maya reunited with Stormzy, after the former lovebirds were snapped holding hands in Greece and on a date night in London back in October 2023.
