PGE reveals animal that caused massive power outage in Beaverton
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- More than 3,000 Portland General Electric customers were without power early Thursday afternoon, according to the company's outage map.
PGE first told KOIN 6 News the outage had been "caused by wildlife," but eventually specified the animal was a bird.
The outage first occurred around 11 a.m. and is expected to continue until roughly 3:15 p.m.
