Speaking to People, Missy revealed that a tour with Ciara has been an idea for quite some time.
“Ciara had been asking me and asking me,” she explained. “I’d be like, ‘Okay,’ but then I’d always find myself in the studio doing something else.”
On top of her busy schedule, Missy was dealing with a diagnosis with Graves’ disease and more.
“Every day I wake, I’m blessed to be here and in good health,” she said about how she’s doing now, adding that she’s “feeling so much better.”
She continued, saying, “That was a run. Every now and then you get a little ache in the leg or the knee, but outside of that, I feel good.”
Her health influenced her break, but she added that she is “most definitely an introvert.”
