Serious injuries reported in two-car crash on Route 205 in Brooklyn

Serious injuries were reported following a two-car crash on Route 205 in Brooklyn early Friday.

State police troopers and medics received reports of the collision at 5:50 a.m. in the area where Route 205 meets Bailey Woods Road and Gorman Road, according to Connecticut State Police.

State police said the Collision Analysis Reconstruction Squad (C.A.R.S.) responded to investigate.

Route 205 was expected to remain closed while crews were at the scene.

As of about 10 a.m., the road had still not reopened, according to the state Department of Transportation.
