Bronx bodega owner stabbed several times in the chest: sources
CONCOURSE, the Bronx (PIX11) --- A bodega owner was stabbed multiple times in his Bronx store Thursday night, according to police and sources.
The 42-year-old owner was repeatedly stabbed in the chest in the bodega on College Avenue and East 169th Street in Concourse at around 11:15 p.m., sources and police said. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It was unclear what prompted the attack.
The suspect ran off after the incident. Police are searching for a man who was wearing a gray shirt. There have been no arrests.
