5 arrested in Morgan City prostitution ring

MORGAN CITY, La. (KLFY) – Five people were arrested on Thursday for operating a prostitution ring.

According to the Morgan City Police Department, officers arrested five suspects on Thursday during a prostitution investigation. The Detectives Division conducted the operation targeting people soliciting prostitution.

The investigation targeted specific internet sites used in the promotion of ads to purchase sexual services or utilized for human trafficking.

• Possession of SCH III CDS (Suboxone)

Blair Chauvin, 36 of Houma

• Prostitution

Nicolas Fitch, 42 of Houma

• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
