Five arrested in massage parlor prostitution bust in Rapides Parish

Rapides Area Drug Enforcement agents executed four simultaneous search warrants June 14 and a fifth later in the day, uncovering acts of prostitution linked to the massage parlors.

ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) — Five people were arrested and charged with prostitution-related crimes, authorities said.

Agents with the Rapides Area Drug Enforcement (RADE) Unit, responding to community complaints, conducted a months-long investigation into alleged criminal sexual conduct and inappropriate acts at several local massage businesses, officials said.

The following individuals were arrested:

  • Liping Wang, 49, of Brooklyn, N.Y., charged with prostitution by massage and two counts of pandering.
  • Jiuhua Song, 48, of Alexandria, La., charged with prostitution by massage.
  • Huanhuan Hu, 31, of Alexandria, La., charged with prostitution by massage.
  • Fuyong Cun, 44, of Alexandria, La., charged with prostitution by massage.
  • Fang Li, 36, of Alexandria, La., charged with enticing prostitution.

RADE agents executed four simultaneous search warrants June 14 and a fifth later in the day, uncovering acts of prostitution linked to the massage parlors.

The investigation, initiated in early spring 2024, focused on La-La Spa, Queen Spa, and a third business on Jackson Street Extension with no listed name. RADE agents obtained search warrants for the three businesses and two related residences, officials said.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents assisted in the operation.
