Tigers edge White Sox to end four-game skid

Carson Kelly hit a two-run homer and the host Detroit Tigers snapped a four-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Friday night.

Detroit starter Jack Flaherty gave up one run and five hits while striking out eight in 5 2/3 innings. Beau Brieske pitched two innings and Jason Foley got the last four outs for his 13th save.

Tommy Pham homered for the
