Death toll in Kallakurichi hooch tragedy rises to 50: Tamil Nadu Health Minister Subramanian Ma

He visited victims at various hospitals and mentioned that 185 people were hospitalized. Chief Minister MK Stalin announced compensation of Rs 10 lakhs for the victims' families and pledged to cover educational expenses for children who lost parents. The incident sparked demands for discussion in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, with AIADMK members raising slogans. Three accused have been sent to judicial custody.
