"Congress' long-term plan to create rift with help of lies": Maharashtra Dy CM on claims of Atal Setu cracks

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis dismissed allegations of structural danger to the Atal Setu as false claims by Congress. Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole had inspected cracks on the Mumbai-Trans Harbour Link, attributing them to corruption. Fadnavis clarified that the cracks were on an approach road, not the bridge itself, and were minor, requiring immediate repair. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) assured the public that the bridge is safe, and repair work would be completed within 24 hours without disrupting traffic.
