Austin Police investigating 'suspicious death' in southeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Austin Police are investigating a "suspicious death" that happened in southeast Austin on Friday night, the agency said on social media.

Around 10:50 p.m., police responded to the scene in the 2600 block of Metcalfe Road.

APD said it will hold a media briefing at the Valero gas station, located at 628 E. Oltorf St. No other details were available Friday.
