Athletics vs. Twins Game Thread

The Oakland Athletics start the final series of the current homestand tonight against the American League Central Minnesota Twins. The Twins land in Oakland having lost their last two games, but remain 7-3 in their previous ten matchups.

The A’s will send 22-year-old righty Joey Estes to the mound tonight. Estes is 2-2 with a 5.97 ERA in seven 2024 starts. He’ll be facing the veteran Chris Paddack for the Twins. Paddack, a 28-year-old righty, is 5-3 with a 5.25 ERA in fourteen starts this season.
